Cabins at Black Bear Camp are among the nicest cabins you will find at any fishing and hunting camp in Ontario. Black Bear Camp was a logging camp back before World War II. The logging camp's main building is now the main lodge and the cabins are where the workers lived.
The Cabins are rustic with wood stoves for heat but some upgrades have been made over the years such as propane stove with oven, electric refrigerator, running water and electric lights. The cabins are fully furnished housekeeping cottages with a fully outfitted kitchen. Your stay can be upgraded to American Plan (3 meals per day).
LOG & FRAME CABINS EQUIPPED
We have ten cabins to choose from. All cabins are log or frame and are right on the water front and range in sleeping capacity from 3 to 8 people. We have a central shower facility and sauna. All cabins have both clean out-houses and Portti-potties inside.
THINGS TO BRING
Camping at Black Bear Camp is a lot of fun and very inexpensive. We have ample land just back from the water where you can have your tent or RV nestled back into the edge of the trees. We have sites that have electrical hook-ups and others that do not for a total of 35 sites. We offer nightly, weekly and season rates.
Black Bear Camp has a beautiful 600 foot sandy beach with lots of docks and dock space for your boat. We also have an introductory seasonal camping special. You can pick your own spot in the trees and then clear out the bush yourself and place your trailer there. For your hard work, we charge half price for the first year camping. We will be bringing electricity to more and more camp-sites every year.
 We have a store where you will find all the necessities for your vacation such as groceries, sundries, souvenirs, ice, bait, fishing tackle, fishing and hunting licenses, gas and oil and much, much more. AVAILABLE AT CAMP
